Just north of the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park, the Lone Mountain area is a residential section of the city and very centrally located.
This apartment is in a truly charming residential circle of homes, but is only a few minutes walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores.
Golden Gate Park is a 5 min walk away, and the beach and downtown are just 15 minutes away.
Plenty of bus lines are within a 2 minute walk, and the home backs on to the USF campus creating a private backyard oasis in which to relax and enjoy.
Guests have access to entire house and yard.
Please note, the apartment is on the lower floor of my home; we live upstairs and you may hear my wife or my footsteps during your stay.
You’ll enter through the garage door to a completely private and renovated space that includes a back yard for your exclusive use during your stay.
The parking spot in the garage is reserved for your car during your stay, but the garage is a shared space with the upstairs unit. We may be in the garage if we need to come down and get some items. Please park your car as far to the left in the garage as possible — we need room to park our baby stroller and gear on the right side.
There is a full gas grill in the backyard for your use.
1 bed/1 bath w kitchenette, washer/dryer, outdoor space, dining room table.
The bathroom is huge and includes a rain shower.

Muni buses stop along the nearby Turk Street and Geary Boulevard and can take you to downtown San Francisco, the Presidio, and much more. The number of bus lines within an easy walk are so numerous and so connected throughout the city that it doesn’t make sense to even list all of them here, but you’ll quickly realize that you’re in the middle of San Francisco and can easily get anywhere with public transportation.
The apartment includes garage parking for one car, and SFO is about 30 minutes away.
Please remember that you will be staying in our home; we ask that you treat our space with the same respect you'd show towards your own home.
We live in the upstairs unit. Unless we happily bump into you, we will respect your privacy and not go into your space including the backyard during your stay.
Smoking is never allowed anywhere on our property, not even in the back yard or in front of the house. We are very sensitive to this.
Please park your car as far to the left in the garage as possible — the owners need room to park their baby stroller and gear on the right side.
